Rincon Tarasco Mexican Restaurant

Rincon Tarasco is a wonderful place to have authentic Mexican food... I personally love the food there because it reminds me of the wonderful food my mom and grandma used to cook for us in Mexico! Service is amazing, food is delicious and the owner is so sweet and nice! My family and friends love it too!

Good, authentic Mexican food at a very reasonable price. One of the better holes-in-the-wall in Raytown. It's a very casual yet comfortable atmosphere, and feels like what it is - a family run restaurant, run very well.

Food is great and fairly cheap. More on the traditional side menu - wise, but familiar enough that picky eaters still have plenty of options.

I think this may be my favorite Mexican joint in raytown if not Kansas City. Fresh, tasty and good margaritas.

This place has really delicious and well-prepared authentic Mexican food. The menu is diverse and thoughtful and is matched by very well prepared entrees with perhaps the best presentation you will find in any Mexican restaurants around here. We had chicken molee green enchiladas and beef burrito which were all very tasty. Desserts are very good as well choco flan and tres leches cake. Prices are average for Mexican food in the KC area however the authenticity and quality are a match for some of the higher-end Mexican restaurants in town.

First time in, purchased the chile rellenos and fajitas to go and can EASILY say this is THE BEST authentic mexican food in KCMO. The other place up the street, Los Campas is distantly close in flavor.Added menu and food pics.

My husband and I ate here for the first time a couple weeks ago and the food was PHENOMENAL! Real, authentic Mexican with rich, delicious flavor in every bite. Highly highly recommend!

Very good service, beautiful plating for this price, very good and fresh food, but a little mild for my taste. Not texmex, more central Mexico cuisine. No ice tea yet, but equipment ordered. Try the tacos Al pastor

Authentic mexican at it's best

Didn't know they would put shredded lettuce in my burrito it was not good ,if anything thought it would be on top but not sour bagged lettuce inside

My husband and I always love eating at Rincon Tarasco! The food is absolutely delicious and the servers are nice.

Don't really leave reviews, however, this place earned it. Visit El Maguey often, but the service hasn't been what it used to be lately. Decided to give this place a shot and sure glad I did. Very cute, modern, and inviting. Menu is a little smaller, but it's a smaller restaurant in general, and there is plenty to choose from. The chips and salsa are fantastic. Very fresh and flavorful. Had the El Pastor burrito and it was delicious. Can't speak on the beans as even though I love Mexican food, I hate beans.. The food and the service were great. I'd definitely eat here again, and hopefully I'll be able to save a little room to try the flan next time.

The food is fantastic, the pricing is reasonable, the staff is friendly.In a city as small as Raytown it can be difficult to find anything great outside of the chain restaurants, but this is one of them. Please do yourself a favor and go get some delicious food from here!

THIS IS THE PLACE for authentic Michoacán!! OMG! The flavors! Tip: Be patient. The food is TOTALLY worth it. This place just opened and the staff is a bit lacking. But the server they have is wonderful and friendly. I’m definitely going to be supporting the heck outta this place.

Food ok. Don't order the menudo, you get no menudo all hominy! Waste of $12.00. Ill keep going to Kansas City, KS for real menudo!!

Goid food. Carnitas are extremely good! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the menu is limited and street tacos are SMALL! I was in the mood for Chili Colorado and the don't serve that.

This is one of the most amazing restaurants in Raytown! Their ceviche is one of the best I've ever had. Even when I've been in the Caribbean where the fish was fresh uut wasn't as good as Rincon.. If you pass this place you have truly missed a wonderful dining experience.

I had 4 different tacos and a burrito and they were all very good. The vegetables and tortillas tasted very fresh and the meats were cooked and seasoned well. The inside of the restaurant is small but is done up very nicely. The staff were very nice as well. Best Mexican food in Raytown, in my opinion!

It was a delicious meal. The green chile pork was amazing as were the quesadillas with chorizo. The pork was melt in your mouth... I had it as a side dish but could have made a meal out of it. Another good meal there!

Meal was excellent. Staff is great. Cheese dip was disappointing. Flavour was off. But the rest was amazing.

Posole was divine. Street tacos have several meat options and they are all yummy.

Absolutely delicious. The rice was a bit cold BUT the tacos de lengua more than made up for that, they were absolutely perfect. I haven't had a good lengua taco since I left the west coast and this MADE MY DAY thank you so much! :)
